Health insurance
Birthlight Zürich is QUALITOP recognised for pregnancy and postnatal gymnastics. This is a quality certification for both course providers and teachers in Switzerland. Our teachers commit to yearly continuing education in their field and comply with the Qualitop Ethic Code.
With a supplementary insurance, part of the class costs may be reimbursed (up to 80% depending on the insurance). Please contact your insurance for the exact reimbursement amounts before purchasing the pass.

Health insurance confirmation in SportsNow
When booking via SportsNow you can print a health insurance confirmation for your passes. Important: the invoice must already be paid, and this function is only available on the web.
- Go to «My account».
- Select «My passes».
- Find the invoice you want to print and click «Action» → «Print health insurance confirmation».
Should your insurance require the Qualicert form, you may download it, fill it in and send it with the health insurance confirmation.
Therapies
Our Shiatsu and massage therapies are recognised by EMR, EGK, ASCA and Visana. Since cost coverage can change, we recommend contacting your supplementary insurance directly to confirm whether the costs will be covered and to what extent.
Registration & cancellation
Please download the SportsNow App to book your classes and appointments. If unable to do so please email us providing: name, address, mobile number, date of birth (and due date if pregnant).
On-site classes
Cancellations are possible up to 24 hours before the lesson through your account. A refund is not possible, but you can reschedule your class for a later time. We do not accept cancellations via email, phone or SMS.
Late cancellations and no-shows are deducted from your subscription.
Individual sessions and therapies
Cancellations are possible up to 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, the full amount is due and a refund is not possible.
Childbirth preparation workshops
Cancellations are only possible in case of illness and premature births (please report immediately). There is no refund, but you may exchange the purchase for a massage / Shiatsu or postpartum classes.
When Birthlight has to cancel
If we have to cancel a class due to illness, we notify you 2 hours before the start of the class. Please always check the schedule and your email for cancellation notices. The amount will be credited back to your subscription for future bookings.
